You are invited to the 116th annual Bathurst Agricultural Show.
The 2026 Bathurst Agricultural Show brings together agriculture, livestock, competition, family activities, food, and community over four full days at the Bathurst Showgrounds.
The programme includes livestock and agricultural competitions, exhibitions and demonstrations, home Industries, art and photography, a dedicated Kidz Zone, delicious food and wine tastings and several exciting new additions for 2026.



Game Auction
The Woody Cape Wildlife Game Auction attracts national buyers and sellers, supporting sustainable wildlife management and conservation.


Riding Compeitions
Riding competitions offer classes for various ages and abilities, highlighting horsemanship, discipline, and equestrian skill.


Livestock Showing
Livestock showing remains central to the show, showcasing cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, poultry, and the skill of dedicated farmers.

New for 2026:
Cask & Cusine
New to the 2026 Bathurst Agricultural Show is Cask & Cuisine, a relaxed food and drink space set beneath a large marquee and shaded by beautiful trees.
With seating under cover and outdoors, Cask & Cuisine offers visitors an additional place to pause and enjoy the show. Guests can look forward to tastings and sales of wine, beer, gin, and other beverages, along with a curated selection of artisanal foods such as breads, cheeses, olives, pestos, charcuterie, oysters, and organic products.
On Friday and Saturday evenings, a seated two-course dinner will be served, offering a special after-hours show experience. Bookings will be essential, with further details released closer to the event.

Kidz Zone

The Bathurst Agricultural Show is proudly family-friendly, and the 2026 event places a strong focus on creating a welcoming environment for visitors of all ages.
A dedicated Kidz Zone offers a safe, professionally managed space where children can enjoy their own show experience. Activities include fun workshops, face painting, jumping castles, quad train rides, a baby and toddler photo competition and kid-friendly food.
This allows children to play and explore while parents enjoy the rest of the show, making the Bathurst Show a relaxed and enjoyable outing for the whole family.

Woody Cape Wildlife Auction
A major highlight of the 2026 programme is the return of the Woody Cape Wildlife Annual Wildlife Auction, hosted at the Bathurst Showgrounds.
This premier auction attracts buyers and sellers from across South Africa and forms an important part of the show’s agricultural and conservation focus. Featuring a wide range of wildlife species and genetics, the auction brings together industry professionals, breeders, and conservation-minded participants.
The event will take place both live and online, with full details, timings, and catalogues released closer to the show.
